I did the original drawing and inking for this image in January. I had recently gone with my little brother to the visitation for his friend from junior high and high school, who died after being wounded in a roadside bombing in Baghdad.
Treize's eloquent speech about honoring the lives sacrificed in war kept ringing in my ears. (I apologize for any problems with image size, this one ended up being transferred via floppy disk from a computer at work to mine.) |
